About the owner
Hello, my name is Hermes Caceres. I am the owner and operator for Double Deuces Plumbing and Heating Inc. I have proudly called Red Deer my city and home since 1989.
I began my plumbing career in the fall of 2007. I was certified as a Red Seal Journeyman Plumber and Journeyman Gas Fitter (B) in 2013. Since then, I have learned how passionate I am about helping people protect and maintain the big investment, that are their homes, residential properties and commercial properties.
I will ensure quality is maintained by implementing company standards and rigidly adhering to them.
Myself and our skilled team are dedicated to delivering industry-leading customer service. Double Deuces empowers our customers by actively involving you in the resolution process. Everything we can do to avoid preventable system breakdowns, is done. Electrical and mechanical components are thoroughly tested and compared to factory specs.
Complete tear downs allow us to inspect areas not normally seen.
Why is Preventative Maintenance Important?
One example is how the dirt on this Furnace Blower Motor (below) is partially blocking some, and completely blocking other, of the motor's vents. When the motor runs, it creates heat. These vents allow air to flow through the motor to cool it. This blockage could cause the motor to overheat and can potentially lead to a premature motor failure. Regular maintenance promotes the longevity and good performance of your homes plumbing and mechanical systems.

This is just one example of what a "fresh air intake" for a typical home looks like. The ones shown, have metal bodies. In newer homes, they can be plastic bodies. Some of these intakes are connected directly to your furnace's "return" duct work. Which takes air back to the furnace through the duct connected to your furnace filter.
Avoid having issues by keeping these intakes clear of debris.
